I finished stitching Part 2 of our Winter Winds stitch-along the other evening. I was in the mood to continue this piece, so decided to begin stitching the house below the verse. I hope Heidi doesn't mind that I "cheated" a little :) These Prairie Schooler samplers are just so fun to stitch, that it's sometimes difficult to stop.

Looks great!!! Happy winter stitching :)
It is really looking nice Joanne. I had to laugh since you cheated but did it with part 3 which you could only have guessed was the next part. :-)
Cheating is allowed as long as you are having fun stitching.
I like the variation of colours for the words. I'm still looking for the charts of Prairie Schooler Samplers. Maybe on internet, I'll be more successful than in French shops. I wish you a very good tuesday. The weather is becoming much colder here. We may have snow as it's forecasted.
Just a greeting for the middle of the week that I wish blessed for you. Snow fell this night, not much, but the roads are icy dans dangerous. So my husband had a little accident this morning. His car has nothing but the other car is damaged. Unfortunately it's a disabled man'car and he was very anxious. We are so sorry for him now. I'm thinking of you a lot, as I'm preparing the postal mail I promised to you with a few tiny gifts.
Hello again. Finally I found an US company able to send me The Prairie Schooler charts by e mail order. Using this opportunity fully, I ordered 10 charts + novelty buttons. It was quite a lot of money, and weren't wealthy, but it's like a birthday gift before the day. I hope to receive them soon, then I'll be albe to choose little designs from each of them, as I don't get involved in large pieces, having to much duties at moment. Maybe you could be interested in the history of DMC threads I put on my blog today. They all come from the French area where I was born. But it's long to read, so you better wait till you have time to read, and get a cup of coffee ready to enjoy at the same time you read! A wish you a very blessed day when you awake!
A wonderful read as always Joanne, both your blogs leave me with a feeling of warmth, thank you :o)
That's just a quick hello to greet you and wish you a blessed week end. I put a tiny design of my own with 2 little Amish dolls on my blog today. Maybe you like them.
