A Bit of De-Stashing & Selling

I keep all my cross stitch charts in sheet protectors in binders, and the other day when I realized I was up to 8 of them (the big, fat 2-inch size) I decided to start counting them. OK. When I got up to 500 I decided to stop and realized that as much as I loved all these charts when I bought them, I was NEVER going to get them all stitched. Some were even ones I kept after stitching them. I don't mark up my charts, so they're as good as new.

As difficult as it was, I finally decided to be ruthless in the crafts room, and pulled out over 100 cross stitch charts I've either stitched (or know I won't get to in the near future), some cross stitch fabric I know I won't be using, some rubber stamps, some books and magazines (quilting, stitching, stamping, paper crafts, etc.), and some regular fabric that I've been storing up for quilts or other crafts projects.

It's going to take me awhile to get everything photographed and listed on ebay, but I thought I'd share the items I already have listed. I'll update here at my blog when new things are added :)

Here are the items I just listed this evening. You can find them on ebay here. Each listing includes a photo of the chart/book.

Well, you certainly do have a ton of patterns and books, wow. Since I have just started stitching, I don't, but I only buy what I want to stitch right away. I have learned that lesson on Knitting with yarn and books.

My goodness! You have a lot of patterns but I love how you have them stored. I wonder why I had not thought of doing that myself??
