For us in south central Texas, the fall colors are at their best right now. I thought I'd take my camera when I was out running some errands this past week, so I could share them on this last day of November.
These first two photos were taken at a park along the Guadalupe River. The sky was blue, the water green (and clear as can be), and many of the trees were golden, orange and red.
This picture was taken at our local neighborhood golf course a few blocks from our house. I didn't want to stop too long to take more photos since there were golfers out, and I didn't want to get hit with a stray golf ball :)
I took this picture on my way home from grocery shopping. It's a beautiful red tree at a corner home near the golf course. You can still see a lot of large green trees in the pictures. Those are Live Oaks and will stay green until they get their new growth in the spring, which pushes out the old leaves.
And this is the view looking across the street at our neighbor's home. The red-orange colors in the front right are from the tree in our front yard.
This is a close up of the tree you see in the previous photo, above the garage.

Those trees in their fall finery are gorgeous!

I stumbled across your journal today and loved your photos. I have a married son who lives in Austin TX so it was rather nice to see autumn colours which would be similar in his area.
Blessings!
