Finished Ornaments

Each year I participate in a homemade ornament swap on my homemaking list. It's always fun to decide what kind of ornament to make, and then wait to see how many people join in. This year was our largest group with 12 of us taking part. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do, and finally decided to stitch these ornaments from Plum Pudding Needleart. I found the fabric in a charm pack at my favorite quilt shop, and knew that was the easy route to take for finishing the ornaments. I thought I had some deep red ribbon, but unfortunately only had the bright red. But, once they're on the tree, I don't think the difference in colors will show up quite as much as it does here.

I was going to wait to add the photo until all the ornaments were sent out to everyone participating, but since I haven't included any needlework photos here in quite some time, I decided to go ahead and add the pictures.

They are so sweet! I love them! How long did it take you to stitch all of them? Great job!

Wow Joanne,
Your little ornaments are just lovely. The fabrics you have chosen to back them with are all so festive. Your group will be delighted :>)

Joanne, those ornaments are wonderful! That would have taken me quite some time to complete! You and Heidi seem to share the stitching skills that I simply did not get! :) They look wonderful!

I love them Joanne! They would be perfect on my tree. And when they hit the floor because my cats have knocked them down...they won't break. Your swap partner will love them!!

Love,
Julie

Well, being one who is receiving one of these ~ THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! Now I have to admit I wish I had not looked at your blog but I did and feel like a little girl peaking at my present. :) I love the brown fabric with rose buds. How pretty is that. I can't wait to get the package of ornaments.

Hugs ~

Wow!!! Those are so cute. Did you get tired of the same design over and over? They are so cute, that I bet you did not. I wish I was getting one.
