Today was a great day! First of all, the kids in my class were good, paid attention, and we covered a lot of information. I treated myself afterwards to a Pumpkin Spice Latte and visited with another mom/teacher while I also graded some papers.
When I got home and looked in the mailbox, I was excited to find the new issue of Victoria Magazine! I'm saving it for tomorrow after I do the grocery shopping and some homekeeping tasks. It will be a perfect treat :)
To complete my day, the online needlework shop opened this afternoon and I've spent a few hours throughout the late afternoon and this evening making a list of everything I loved. When I just added up the totals of everything I had written down it came to $573, lol. Yikes! Needless to say, I have lots and lots of paring down to do on that list!! It's so much fun looking at all the nice designs by participating vendors. The hard part will be selecting just a few of the charts on my wish list.
If you'd like to visit, it's free to look and you might find something you really, really love. There are cross stitch charts, needlepoint, punchneedle, accessories, floss, fabric, and some nice gifts, too. You can stop in and visit The Online Needlework Show now through the 22nd. If you see something you'd like to purchase, or have any questions, my friend Mary Kathryn at Handcrafts Online can help! (And I hope she doesn't mind my passing along her name!!)

Yum, your pumkin spice latte sounds delicious! Enjoy your magazine. I love to sit down and look at a good magazine with a cup of tea and get tons of new ideas for projects! Your wish list is very ambitious! :) I need to find a new stitching pattern. I might go have a look.
Joanne,
I remember how wonderful days were when I used to teach and everything went well, the classes enthusiastic and buzzing with energy and the staffroom a haven for a quick coffee and chat. Your day sounds like a real tonic.
I'm so glad you mentioned Victoria magazine, I went into mourning when it folded and had no idea it was publishing again till I saw you mention it. I've now emailed my subscription and can't wait to get my first issue.
I can't wait to see what you finally order from the stitching show. After my Victoria sub, I'm going to have to economise :>)
Hugs, Angela
WOW, you do have a big wish list! Hope you can have it all, but probably not, huh? There were some really nice designs! Only ordered two, that's two more than I need. Love your blogs!
