A New Finish and An Old One

It's been a busy week working on lesson plans and homekeeping tasks, but I managed to finally finish a cute freebie from Waxing Moon Designs called Autumn Blackbird.

A few days ago I pulled out a box of "almost finished" projects. Some of them were cross stitch, some crochet, some sewing, some quilting, and all need just a teensy bit of work to complete them. This cute little scarecrow is from Cedar Hill and was stitched in the 90s. I made a few of them and one or two made their way to friends. I kept this little guy. I think I'll finish this and the blackbird tomorrow, probably as little pillow ornaments to hang on a doorknob.

Oh how adorable they both are! They will make great doorknob pillows. I can't wait to see your finish on them.

Joanne,
How nice to have some projects on the threshold of being finished then finishing them and making them into gifts. I can't think of anything nicer. I don't tend to have unfinished things as I have a mental block about moving on until one piece is completed. These two are so pretty they can now be really enjoyed :>)
