Emma's Garden - A Work in Progress

Here's a picture of my weekend project, Emma's Garden by Plum Pudding Needleart. I love working with just one color ~ it always seems to go more quickly than when you have to make a lot of color changes. I also like the old-fashioned look it lends to the piece. I had quite a few skeins of DMC 221 floss, so decided to use that.

I'm a little more than half finished, and I hope to have the project completed over this long holiday weekend. After that, it will be hanging in the living room :)

This is so pretty! I too love the look of one color although a large design can get boring while you are stitching it. This design is so beautiful.

I hope you and your family have a great 4th of July!
