"That beautiful season the Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood. "
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Summer is here and you can always find a pitcher of iced tea and one of iced coffee sitting in our fridge next to the usual bottles of juice and water. A few years ago I found an Al Roker holiday cookbook at the library, and he had some fantastic ideas for juice drinks. They were in his Thanksgiving section, but I think they're perfect for summer! If you'd like to look for the cookbook, I think the name of it was "Al Roker's Hassle Free Holiday Cookbook".
Here are some of the delicious treats he suggested. Wouldn't they look pretty in an attractive carafe with some frozen juice cubes to keep the beverage chilled, and a pretty floral or tropical tablecloth on the table... perfect with some homemade muffins or scones!

Altough Summer is everywhere at the same time in the north hemisphere, we rather have a real fall weather with rain and cold temperature. It's totally unusual at this season. We rather would enjoy hot cappucinos or tea at moment. Ant it looks like if we could begin our christmas desings (I draw them for my business).It's always a pleasure to visit your blog. God bless you.
Joanne, I think you should have been Martha Stewart in another life! I used to be that way, but life's changes have me as a career woman these days. I'd never have believed it could happen! Your posts often have me missing my days as a homemaker. Thanks for sharing!
