A Friday Finish ~ Wedding Sampler

This evening I finished the wedding sampler I've been stitching. The design is from Homespun Elegance and can be used for weddings, anniversaries, and even births. Now I'm trying to decide whether to frame it, or make it into a pillow. I think tomorrow I'll go through my fabric and see if something looks "just right". That should help me decide.

Note: The pink that can be seen is actually showing through from the tablecloth underneath the stitched piece. It's a light green tablecloth with pale pink roses, and I guess the light was just right for it to show through.

I do like the very simple yet subtle effect of this design. It's not necessary to have a huge design as a keepsake of great moments in life. I always enjoy reading you and I'm sorry that you are living under an other sky than me, and that I cannot pay you a visit. I wish you a very blessed Whit Sunday

It turned out wonderful Joanne! I really think this would make a beautiful pillow and would also work well with the design. When is the wedding?
