A New Year

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

~ 1 Corinthians 10: 31

Hello Friends ~

We're home from vacation, and as I catch up on laundry and empty suitcases and tote bags, I've been making notes of things I hope to do this year. I always love to make long lists of New Year's Resolutions, but very few actually make it through to the end of the year. This year I have the following goals:

~ Bible reading each day (this one I always manage to accomplish!)
~ Eat healthier and more balanced meals
~ Make at least one new recipe each week from the many, many, many cookbooks I have
~ Do a better job keeping up with correspondence to friends and family
~ Exercise more
~ Keep up with my email groups
~ Send birthday and anniversary cards and gifts on time!!
~ Make more gifts throughout the year
~ Spend more time cross stitching :)

I think this is a good start to my list. Of course, many will fall by the wayside as the year progresses, but I hope to go back to the list periodically and make adjustments to my goals.

I hope you all have as much fun planning a new year as I do! It's always wonderful to begin the new year with a nice fresh start, and lots of ideas, hopes and dreams for the future.

Writing out your resolutions is great. I think it will help you keep them. I have to admit, I need to use some of yours for my own resolutions.

Love the photos from your time away.
